Fast, Effective Mold Testing
in the Greater Omaha / Lincoln Area
Why Choose Pure Nebraska to Test Your Home or Business?
The hard work ethic of our people sets us apart. That’s why we don’t shy away from testing the difficult, scary, or uncomfortable places. We perform air quality and mold testing in the Omaha – Lincoln area and help you determine the best course of action to remain healthy and safe in your home or office.
If you’re serious about finding a possible mold problem and are committed to fixing it, then we should talk. If you hope mold isn’t found (i.e., by a less diligent inspector) and merely want to check a box that testing and inspection was done, then you may want to consider someone else.
Air Quality Testing
Airborne mold is invisible and can make you, your loved ones, customers, and employees sick. We are very good at finding these types of unhealthy mold.
Fast Results
After inspecting and gathering air samples from your business or home, we send them to a lab and typically have results back to you within 3-4 business days.
3rd Party Lab
We only use qualified 3rd party labs that objectively analyze your air samples and send a report with the facts.
Air Quality & Mold Testing Process
Do you or someone in your home or office have indoor allergies in the winter? Do you feel better when outside of your home or workplace? These are signs of an airborne mold problem.
After a thorough inspection and becoming familiar with the possible problem areas of your home or business, we usually take 3 air samples, each from different areas. Our standard mold air testing price of $250 includes both tests for clients within our service area. If you are outside our service area, please request a quote.
Occasionally, due to the building size or other factors, we recommend taking additional samples, costing $50 each.
Our philosophy is that if unhealthy levels of airborne mold do exist, we do you no favor by lazily taking random air samples and then reporting no problem back. We are creating a scenario where mold will show itself. In that case, if results come back negative, we feel confident that they are negative. If they come back positive, they are, in fact, positive.
Once lab results come back, we send you the lab report, some commentary to help you understand the report, and recommendations for any needed further steps or treatment.
Mold inspection and air quality testing are great tools to determine the level of health inside your Omaha or Lincoln home or office. Inspection and testing are key to our mission to make homes and workplaces healthy again!
Professional Tips for Mold Prevention
Tip #1: Ventilate Your House
Be sure all spaces are well ventilated – this includes opening vents in unused basement spaces, confirming bathroom ventilation draws out humidity, and ensuring attic soffit vents aren’t blocked by insulation.
Tip #2: Monitor Humidity Levels
A good way to make sure you don’t have a high humidity problem is to regularly check its level. The EPA recommends indoor humidity levels between 30-50% as safe.
What Happens After Results Come In?
If the lab report indicates healthy levels of mold, we will notify you and maybe share a few tips about how to prevent a future mold problem.
If the results indicate unhealthy mold levels, then we will likely schedule a call to discuss the best course of action. All through the process, we will teach you about mold, how it grows, and how it spreads, so you as the home or business owner can make an educated decision how to proceed.
High airborne mold levels might not only lead to structural damage, but they can also cause health problems to you or others in your home or business. In most cases, we recommend a whole home/business treatment to get rid of mold once and for all. Our patented dry fog method is demolition-free and takes only 5 to 8 hours instead of the national average of 5 days!
